Exhibition for Bristol Ethicurean

On Monday I was out at Barley Wood Walled Garden hanging an exhibition in the cafe. It has recently been taken over by Bristol Ethicurean, my friends Matt and Jack. The food is absolutely delicious and all locally sourced. So locally, in fact, that they calculate food meters not miles. All the vegetables and fruit come from the garden which is open for you to wander round and the menu changes daily depending on what's ready for harvest.

In the white brick walled cafe you can now see work by Emma Dibben, Paul Farrell and myself.

Me!

I highly recommend a little trip out there. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed, the art is stunning and the toffee apple cake is to die for!

Fab Fabrics

I was in London this weekend, and on Saturday was introduced to the foodie delights of Broadway Market.  While wandering up and down and trying to decide what to scoff first I stumbled across a great little fabric shop called The Patterned Hand. It's a petite boutique shop but sells a great selection from Harris Tweed to retro patterns.
